About the Singles Celebration Group:

Purpose: The purpose of Singles Celebration is to help meet the social and spiritual needs of single adults—to meet new friends, to develop relationships and to have fun!

Activities: Bi Weekly Bible study (currently seeking a leader), monthly social events, quarterly philanthropic efforts in conjunction with other church related efforts.

Upcoming event dates:
It’s currently Grey whale season in Dana Point. Join us for a two hour whale watching adventure on Saturday, April 19 from 4 – 6PM (check in 3:30PM). Delight in the exciting sights and sounds of the magnificent sea creatures at Dana Wharf. Known as a landmark for whale sightings, Dana Wharf’s tours offer rare glimpses into a huge variety of underwater wildlife that you’ll never forget! The giant Greys may spy hop, breach, or fluke. Enjoy the playful dolphins and sea lions too!

Come prepared with the following:

• Wear non-slip shoes (athletic or tennis shoes)
• Dress in layers as it is usually about 10 degrees cooler on the water
• Apply sun screen and wear a hat
• Bring a camera

Reduced group rate of $19 per person (regularly $29).
Free parking.

For all of you land lubbers, we will be gathering at Wind & Sea Restaurant in the Dana Point Harbor immediately after the trip. Christy Compton has agreed to hold a table for us.

Leader: Sheri Hockmeyer has dedicated her career to the hospitality industry. Throughout nearly twenty years, she worked in the capacities of Sales and Marketing Manager and/or Director for a variety of hotel companies including Holiday Inn, Doubletree, Hyatt, Marriott and Hilton Hotels Corporation. In 2005, Sheri started her own meeting and event consulting business. Additionally, she represents Dana Wharf arranging fishing charters, whale watching and ocean adventure trips. Her professional experience has paved the path to call her to San Clemente Presbyterian Church.
